Features

From project prep to the last song

Prest separates deliberate preparation from glanceable stage operation. Each workflow stays connected to the DAW project that supplies playback and timing.

Prepare the catalog

Songs and setlists

Create and edit songs, search the catalog, create setlists, and add or reorder songs for the show.

Project sources

Point Prest at REAPER project files or use marker-delimited songs in one REAPER project. Ableton uses one Live Set with locators.

Run Performance

Transport and navigation

Choose a setlist and song, then use play, pause, stop, previous, next, and the progress display from a stage-oriented view.

Lyrics and chords

Follow lyrics and chords positioned against the song timeline. Lyric size and song timing visibility are adjustable in Setup.

Read the Performance guide

Use the screens already on stage

Prest serves its browser interface from the host runtime. Computers, tablets, and phones on the same private local network can open that interface. This does not mean the browser is fully offline: it still needs the host and local network connection.

Manage and move your data

Setup holds performance preferences and project-source configuration. A Prest backup exports songs and setlists; importing creates new copies and merges them into the existing catalog. Wipe clears runtime and browser state and returns to onboarding.
