Performance guide
Performance is the stage view. It emphasizes the current song, timed material, progress, and large transport controls.
Choose the set and song
Section titled “Choose the set and song”- Open Performance.
- Choose a setlist from the first selector.
- Choose a song from the second selector.
If All Songs is unavailable, enable it in Setup → Performance only when that broader catalog is useful on stage.
Control transport
Section titled “Control transport”- Play / Pause reflects the current host state.
- Stop stops the host transport.
- Previous and Next move through the selected performance sequence.
- The progress control displays elapsed and remaining song time.
Always test controls during rehearsal before connecting Prest to a production show project.
Read lyrics and chords
Section titled “Read lyrics and chords”When the prepared project supplies timed text, chords appear above their associated lyric positions. The active timeline follows the host playhead. Change Lyrics Text Size in Setup when the viewing distance changes.
Song timings
Section titled “Song timings”Enable Show Song Timings in Setup to include durations in song choices. Timing depends on the song data supplied by the host or catalog.
Focus and gestures
Section titled “Focus and gestures”The current source includes focus and swipe interaction paths, but their complete cross-device behavior is not yet documented for public use. Use the visible controls as the supported path until those gestures are validated against the supported-browser matrix.
