PresTools
PresTools splits a finished song into stems, builds its tempo map, detects its chords and times its lyrics. It is built into Prest and also available as a REAPER extension.

The tools
In Prest, each tool has a button on the toolbar and opens in a window of its own over the timeline. In REAPER, PresTools adds one dockable panel with a page for each tool. Select a clip (in REAPER, an item), and the tool works on it.
Stem separation
Split a song into stems such as vocals, drums, and bass with a model you choose from the library. The stems land on new tracks under the item.
Tempo mapper
Detect beats and downbeats and turn them into a tempo map that follows the recording, with a count-in bar and a click track to check it by ear.
Chord mapper
Detect the chords the item plays, spelled for the song's key, onto a track named Chordtrack. Edit them as a bar-by-bar chord chart.
Lyrics
Recognize the words with Whisper, correct them, then align each word to the vocal and write the timed lyrics to a track named Lyrics.
UltraStar importer
Import an UltraStar song file as timed lyrics and notes, with a second track for the second singer of a duet.
Workflows
Chain separation models and tools into a workflow, then run it on a song, a choice of files, or a whole folder. In REAPER, a ReaScript can run it too.
Transcribe In Prest
Write a stem's notes as MIDI, on a Score track under the stem.
Correction In Prest
Correct a recording's tuning, transpose it, and even out its loudness.

Built into Prest
In Prest, PresTools is part of the app: there is nothing else to install. Stems land as tracks under the song; chords and lyrics land on the lanes Prest Server shows on stage.
Chords and lyrics for Prest Server in REAPER
Prest Server's REAPER plugin reads chords from a track named Chordtrack and lyrics from a track named Lyrics. PresTools writes to those same tracks, so a song it prepared already has chords and lyrics for the Performance view. Rehearse each song before the show.
Your audio stays on your computer
Every tool runs on the computer that runs Prest or REAPER. PresTools uploads no audio and contains no telemetry. The internet is needed to install the REAPER extension, to add each tool, and to download each model the first time it is used.
Each tool is installed the first time you want it. PresTools' settings list each tool's size and the licenses of everything it installs. In Prest, the model library also fetches its current list of models.
Requirements for REAPER

- LicensePresTools is proprietary software. The open-source components it installs keep their own licenses.
